In this two-hour online presentation, Craig Turner-Bullock will share the story behind his most ambitious project to date: Dogs of the World. Over nearly a decade, Craig has travelled across continents, photographing 60 dog breeds in locations deeply connected to their heritage. The physical manifestation of Dogs of the World is a coffee table book - but it has been so much more than that. It was a life-changing journey that shows how following a creative impulse can lead to extraordinary opportunities. But this isn’t just a story about Dogs of the World. It’s about the power of personal projects. Why they matter, how they fuel growth, and how they can transform both your photography and your life. Alongside anecdotes, experiences, and images from Dogs of the World, Craig will also explore how you can bring your own ideas to life. From working through challenges and breakthroughs to applying practical lessons in turning an idea into a finished work. Attendees will leave inspired, with concrete insights on how to start, sustain, and succeed with projects of their own, no matter how big or small.

ABOUT CRAIG TURNER-BULLOCK

Craig has been turning wagging tails into works of art since 2001, photographing everything from beloved family dogs to international breeds in their special places for his Dogs of the World project. When he’s not teaching at retreats or chasing dogs around the globe, he’s home in Christchurch, New Zealand, with a camera in hand. A Grand Master of the NZIPP and proud winner of Portrait Photographer of the Year, the first person to win this category with image software non-human subjects, hew also won the inaugural Animal category at the NZIPP IRIS Awards. In 2025 Craig won the Special Pets Category of the International Photography Awards and has been awarded for over 200 of his images in international competition. Craig is also a Fujifilm ambassador. He co-founded Unleashed Education, an online pet photography education platform, with Charlotte Reeves, together their mission is simple - to elevate pet photography and help others create images that shine. He has three bestselling books, with a fourth on the way in early 2026.
